The following screenshots are in stereo. If you're unfamiliar with viewing in stereo, imagine a set of railroad tracks running from the rear of the picture into the distance behind the screen. Focus your eyes farther and farther down the tracks until the two images overlap... Focus on them (takes a little practice getting used to this) and it will look as if you're there.



In this first pic this is what became apparent to me: the moon's arched over the sun "stone" beneath; the stone has a face molded (?) into it; the back of the stone is open (backlit); the red enamel job is sloppy.


Here it becomes apparent that the enamel tucks into a side "pocket."

This side view shows a raised (and pointed) side pocket, also showing how the ring tapers in width. The sun stone appears from below as well.
